Use Letterheads with your Word Templates

• Most modern small businesses do not use pre-printed letterhead. Instead, they combine the letterhead with content during document generation.
• OnPoint Legal simplifies this task by allowing you to fill any document with content.  As a result, document generation with OnPoint Legal consists of opening your letterhead, and then filling the letterhead from a template.  This eliminates the need to manually open three documents (Letterhead, Content, and new Blank Document).
• The best way to work with letterhead is to set your workgroup template location to your letterhead folder.
• This can be done by opening word and going to File -> Options -> Advanced -> General -> and clicking File Locations.
• Simply modify your Workgroup templates location to match you local or shared Letterhead location.
• Now, when you want to create a new document, rather than selecting a blank document, you select letter “Shared” (See Letter E below) and select your template.
